My First Post

The purpose of this blog is to keep tabs on my progress with pickup, weight loss, financial gain and other life goals. This is the first post so that I can keep track of everything.

Its been two weeks since my bootcamp in New York City. The first weekend that I went out after I got back was a disappointment. Friday night in Atlantic City was dead. We went to The Quarter first and there was no one there. After that we headed on over to The Pier and hit up Game On. There were definately sets available. I chickened out on a few, and even had some serious approach invitations on the way out of the club but walked right by. Not a good way to start out after bootcamp. Saturday night was worse. We went to Cascamorta in Philly and it was dead. Not much I could do there.

This weekend I went to Finnigans Wake in Philly on Friday. I opened 6 sets. I was a bit nervous starting out but after a few got into a rythmn. I need to work on negging right away when I open. I definately didnt neg once. It hurt my sets ... I also need to work on male interupts. I had three of those on Friday and I lost all three sets. It seemed like I couldnt really get into Attraction. Im gonna have to work on opening again, which is definately a step back from my bootcamp. At least I know where I stand at the moment. Saturday we went to Harrahs for Eds Bachelor party. Yeah, interesting stuff there. I didnt really open anything, and I dont think details should be posted on the internet ... private or not. So as it stands I know I need to work on opening and attraction. Moving sets seemed to be a problem too ... along with mixed sets. I read on Sinns blog that I should do 50 sets per week, I have to figure a way to do that, because thats a lot of sets in not a lot of time. Maybe I will start hitting happy hours.

As far as weight loss is concerned Im down 22lbs since I started last week. Im currently 186lbs down from 208 lbs. Thats not bad. I want to get down to 170 lbs. So 16 lbs to go. Im thinking Im going to have a cheat day tomorrow however. Im due. Ive definately earned it. Once I do that I can switch back over to the normal plan also. Man will that be nice. I miss real food. But so far the results are worth it. I also need to sign up for the gym, but thats not going to happen until I get some spare cash.

Okay thats it for this post. I'll update after I head out again, which should be Wednesday.
